Elizabeth Cepa is a compassionate social work student who is dedicated to bringing positive change to individuals and communities. She is currently working towards her Bachelor of social Work at the University of Manitoba, with a focus on family studies as her minor. Her passion for social justice and advocacy is evident in her efforts to empower marginalized populations and promote inclusivity. Elizabeth has a passion for art and creative expression, which has lead her to achieving an Art Therapy certification.
Throughout her life and career, Elizabeth has worked and volunteered in education, family services, social services, immigration, Justice, community outreach, case management, and counselling. Elizabeth’s has gained experience in areas such as disabilities, mental health, child welfare, and domestic/child abuse.
Elizabeth's commitment to continuous learning and professional development is reflected in her active involvement in volunteer work, workshops, seminars, and ongoing education opportunities within the field of social work, art therapy, play therapy, life and relationship coaching. She is a huge advocate for self-care and mental health awareness. As a social work student, Elizabeth exemplifies the values of empathy, resilience, and dedication, making a lasting impact in the lives of those she connects with and embodying the true spirit of social work.
